Blackjack is dealt with a single deck, but most often from a big pile of cards made up of multiple decks. Why, you ask? Makes it harder to count cards! Also, the dealer usually “burns”, or discards the top card after shuffling and before the dealing begins. This also makes it harder to cheat!
